Chief Executive Officer
With more than 15 years’ experience, Andrew began his career in the home care industry working for an assisted living company. In 2008, he opened his first home care agency in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he could personally put into practice his passion for assisting those through home care, and providing quality customer service along with excellent care. The business quickly grew and in 2014, Andrew, along with his sister, Erin Bellard, started Home Care Associates in Birmingham, Alabama. He has presented at national home care conferences and continues to be a leader in the home care industry for exceptional customer service and quality care initiatives. “Home care, or health care of any type, is often an overwhelming experience for clients and patients. So our focus at Home Care Associates is to help them through this process.”
Chief Operating Officer
Emily Gautreaux graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Business Management in 2007. After graduating, she began her career as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a home care company in Lafayette, Louisiana. She then became a Managing Partner for the company and oversaw the opening, operations, marketing, and public relations for four additional offices across the state. With her help, they became the largest privately owned home care company in Louisiana. She served as president of the company for a year and a half. She loves cultivating relationships and team skills and values helping clients remain healthy and happy at home even more. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, participating in fitness activities, and spending time with her giant Cajun family.
Vice President of Client Services
After finishing nursing school in 2007, Erin Bellard started her career at a hospital tailored to providing care to geriatric patients. This is where her love for the elderly began and continued to grow. Shortly thereafter when Andrew started his original home care business, she joined him in his endeavour to provide the best quality care to seniors where she worked as the Care Manager and led the Intake Department. In 2014, Erin and Andrew started Home Care Associates. Throughout her career, she has professionally and personally provided hands on care for numerous clients and their families. “Being able to work all sides of patient care has amplified my love and compassion for our clients and families, and allows me to help in every area of care.”
